Parks and Rides in London

Most resident London families know that parks and rides are great ways to spend quality time together. They allow you to bond with family and friends while experiencing the thrills afforded by some of the best amusement parks in all of London. However, your choice of park will largely depend on the ages of your children, as well as what they enjoy doing the most. Additionally, some parks add an educational aspect which allows your kids to continue learning, even during the summer months. Amusement parks in and around London often feature countless rides and games for adults and children of all ages. Let’s take a look at a couple of the more popular locations.

Chessington World of Adventures is a great option for families with kids of all ages. The park features 9 different themed lands. This park also boasts a zoo and a marine life centre. Many visitors cite the walk-through ocean tunnel as being the best aspect of the park. It offers an unmatched view of the ocean world, as sharks and rays actually swim overhead. Thorpe Park is another highly popular area to visit. The parks’s newest ride is called Storm Surge, and it provides and incredible 64-foot descent for those who are brave enough to ride it. This park is perfect for adults or older children, as it also has rides with horror movie themes. Saw: The Ride, is popular among the teenage crowd in London, and it is a major draw for the park.
